SOFIA, Oct 29 (Reuters) – Bulgaria’s state nuclear power plant Kozloduy reconnected on Saturday its 1,000 megawatt (MW) nuclear reactor Unit 6 after a planned maintenance and refuelling, the plant said.
Kozloduy, situated at the Danube River, said in a statement that the nuclear reactor Rubbish Removal was reconnected to the national power after a House Clearance by the country’s nuclear regulator.The reactor was shut for Waste Clearance – www.wasteking.co.uk, annual repairs on Sept. 24.
Its other 1,000 MW reactor, Unit 5, was working at full capacity, the plant said. (Reporting by Tsvetelia Tsolova)
